Karmaloop x Faded Streets: Mud, Blood & Beer

KarmaloopTV and the resident Faded Streets crew hooked up for a pub crawl of epic proportions - rather than crawl and wobble through The Hub like a bunch'a pussies, The Filthy Faded grabbed their decks, donned all-white gear, and made a mission of becoming the dirtiest (literally and figuratively) motherfuckers in town.

Killing shit ensued... check out the video above, and vote for Faded as the best "Band of Buds" in the land!

... gets blogged right here!

Karmaloop raged through Las Vegas for the annual S.L.A.T.E./MAGIC trade show last week, and the highlight of the trip was definitely the epic bash at Haze nightclub.

We had family from Dirty Debutantes, VGB, Crooks & Castles, Flüd Watches, ®Society Original Products, Hellz Bellz and SneakTip in the building (if we forgot anyone, all apologies - we still can't remember how we even made it home), and with Statik Selecktah on the decks and the Jabbawockeez on stage, it was one hell of a fuckin' night!

Can't wait for next year's jam - in the meantime, we'll have these gems to remind us of the madness:

Big shouts to Hennessey Black, Haze Nightclub, Aria Hotel and of course Las Vegas and the lovely people who partied with us! Be sure to join us (or DIE) on Facebook to see even more flicks from the event, and check out the KarmaloopTV video below!

Altamont x Pushead

Brian Schroeder, a.k.a. Pushead, is not just another artist to us at The Blogs. Pushead is THE artist.

Our love affair with Pushead started in the fifth grade as just another skate brat elbowing for room at the local park with our Zorlac x Pushead Pirate One signature deck. Thanks in part to an unhealthy obsession with thrash metal and hardcore punk - namely Metallica and The Misfits, both of which frequently collaborated with Schroeder for album and tee shirt art - Pushead's art and music with his own band, Septic Death, was all we needed to properly piss off parents, teachers, police and all else who dared to diss us.

Quick fact: We started wearing all of our tees inside-out following a nasty confrontation with a math teacher who got us suspended for wearing a "grossly offensive" Pushead-designed tee (still have the school letter sent home with us, high comedy). Rather than trash it, we wore the tee (and just about every other since) inside-out until it was left in stained, smelly tatters.

Needless to say, we're fuckin' stoked to see the great tradition of corrupting young, impressionable minds continue with The Specimen Tee (below). The Altamont collaboration with Pushead features one of dude's signature skull n' bones designs, this time trapped for an eternity within the confines of a laboratory jar. Check it out below, and definitely stay on the look-out for more from Pushead and Altamont!

Port Arthur, Texas' Trill OG, the one and only Bun B, stopped by the IMKING booth at last week's S.L.A.T.E./MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas to show our homies some love. B is rocking the forthcoming Oscar fitted and the Beer Goggles sunglasses in this flick - definitely check back for both this fall!

Karmaloop represented all week at S.L.A.T.E. and we'll have more coverage than mom-jeans for you all throughout the week. Stay tuned!

Nicki Minaj Gives Us Joy(Rich)

The Blogs' future ex-wife Nicki Minaj rocked the hell out of the Joyrich Motor Vest in the video for DJ Khaled's "All I Do is Win" remix from a couple months back. While the video is better played on mute in our opinion, our girl slayed us a few times over with not only her jaw-dropping booty - er, beauty - but also with such gems as "You can talk slick all the way down to the welfare /Ask the I.R.S., bitch, I'm payin' for ya health care." Ouch - listening, Lil' Kim?

Unfortunately, the vest is as gone as Busta's dreads, T-Pain's gimmick, Diddy's alleged chin, Fabolous' career, and all of the plates at the buffet when Fat Joe, Khaled and Rick Ross show up (sorry, but we really don't like the song). However, you can check out the latest Joyrich drops for men here and for women here.

Altamont is Fucked Up

Fucked Up formed in Toronto in 2002, high-school friends influenced by first- and second-wave hardcore bands like Minor Threat and NOFX. It was instantly apparent that they were not carbon-copy punks. Known by bizarre aliases, Fucked Up employ creative methods of spreading information & misinformation. Basic facts are constantly in flux. It is unclear how many of their 7"s have actually been released. Rumors about Fucked Up circulate like wildfire among their obsessive fans. The bottom line is that this band could only come out of hardcore, but they are now making music like no hardcore band in history. Though Fucked Up remain punks at heart - if quixotically diverse ones - they continue to create great, weird, heavy records that stubbornly stick in your brain and your heart.

- Altamont

Stay tuned, pals - Fucked Up is one of The Blogs' favorite bands out today and we'll have much more content coming your way throughout Altamont's campaign - in the meantime, check out some select videos:

Assorted Goods Jewellery makes it's Karmaloop debut with Bay Area collective BLVCK SCVLE, collaborating on the ultra-limited edition Jesus Necklace - available now and ONLY at The 'Loop!

Rob and Dave Fang, Paul Escobar and Reis Hood of AG mold each medallion by hand, resulting in precise attention to detail, supreme craftsmanship and an unmatched durability for the heavy, hard plastic Jesus piece (weight and heft courtesy of added metal powder). Aside from the Jesus piece itself, we're stoked on the 36" black metal rosary bead chain that comes with each, thus completing the overall sacrosanct steez for you sinners and saints out there.

Each medallion is hand-finished, buffed, inspected and numbered before shipping from the Bay to make 'em official - but don't sleep, this exclusive gem is limited to just 100 pieces!

Team NEFF x Maloof Money Cup

Team NEFF represented at last Sunday's Orange County edition of the Maloof Money Cup, with riders Ryan Decenzo, Adam Dyet, Jordan Hoffart and Tyler Hendley helping to tear the course apart.

David Gravette won the Cup's Tech Deck Best Trick competition, barely edging out Dyet who skated off with the $10,000 prize last summer. It took damned near 20 tries, but Gravette landed a 50-50 kick flip down a rail to win over the crowd and the judges. "I really like this beer," Gravette said following the win.

Ryan Decenzo also placed for NEFF, securing $4,000 in his bank account and a respectable seventh place finish in the Volcom Street Pro Finals. Click the video above to check out some Team NEFF highlights!

Born of the idea that there will always be people out there who not only embrace the rawness and imperfections of everyday life, but use it to creatively push the boundaries of what’s possible in skateboarding, fashion, art and music - their own way, with complete disregard of the consequences.

Comune is here to provide clothing that reflects a lifestyle of carefree idealism and to support the people that choose to live it - just a quick glance at the brand's skate and snowboard teams proves as much. Boasting riders including Braydon Szafranski, Gareth Stehr, Josh Mills and Cale Zima amongst the ranks, the teams are definitely as sick and balls-out insane as the gear - check out some of our picks:

The B SZA Jacket in Black Wax; in Classic Blue.

The Gareth SS Buttondown Shirt; The Hank SS Buttondown Shirt.

The Nuge Denim in Indigo; The David Jean in Black.

The CSM17 Tee; The NBOY1 Tee.

The Pearson Wallet; The Gaffer Wallet Chain.

The Patches; The Pins.
